Many people think of investing in the stock market as a means to achieve their retirement goals and nothing more. There is very little that could be further from the truth though. There are many reasons that people invest in stock markets that have much to do with the more immediate future. If you do not consider all the great things that can occur following a prudent investment in the stock market and mutual funds, perhaps these ideas will give you some inspiration.

1) Buying a house. Even if you do not necessarily need to advance money to pay the entire house would be great. Of course, deposits are large and having more money you can spend as a deposit interest rate lower than you can get, which means you’ll have much less well paid over the life of your home. This also means you have instant equity in your home that is almost always a great thing.
2) send children to college. It is a long-term investment goal, but not as long-term much like retirement. Most of us may actually consider sending our children to college while we are not yet ready to imagine or day to dream (or dread) what our retirement will be. 3) Braces and other medical expenses. If you have children you should be prepared for unexpected medical expenses and dental route. Even if you have an excellent insurance plan chances are that you will support the weight of some of these costs along the path in the form of deductibles and copayments can be expensive in their own rights. It helps if you have some money put aside and interest income on these occasions.
4) Dream vacation. We all have places where we would go, things we would do, and we would like to see monuments. Most of us put a lot of time and effort to ensure our future and forget the importance of taking some time to enjoy the time we have today. Our children are only young once so if you want to take them to Disney, it is better to do while they are young and can have fun and remember the experience. More importantly, they remember to share the experience with you. This is one of the best reasons to invest.
5) to pay for the unexpected. Burst pipes, heating and air conditioning out, and cars are needed along the path. Most investments have a much better return on investment as interest rates of bank income. This means that by investing the money you’re more likely to save money for you while you’re waiting for those moments when you need to remove in order to handle such emergencies little .
